Orleans Minor Hockey and Gloucester Centre Minor Hockey Trial Merger

The Board of Directors for both Orleans Minor Hockey and Gloucester Centre Minor Hockey are pleased to inform our extended hockey family that the two organizations have entered into discussions together to initiate a trial merger for the coming 2023-24 hockey season.
 
This was not an easy decision as both organizations have a long, rich hockey history with great memories attached.  Central to these discussions has been the desire to honour and pay respect to those histories. Also central to these discussions is the recognition that we have to explore the opportunity to work together if we hope to continue providing the best possible hockey experience for all of our hockey players, coaches and volunteers.
 
A number of positive committee meetings have already taken place. It’s been obvious from the start that both associations share very similar values and a focus on what is best for the kids.
