Cougar Cup 2016

 

42nd Annual Hubert Seguin Cougar Cup
Dates: January 14th to 17th, 2016
Locations: ALL GAMES played at Richcraft Sensplex

ALL TEAM REGISTRATION WILL BE DONE AT THE POTVIN ARENA ICE SURFACE. (unless you are playing at Armstrong on the saturday) every other time is at POTVIN, as there will be 2 tournaments that weekend being held under the same complex, make sure to register on the potvin side.

Skill competitions:
Please see attached drills that will be perform, (please note that the tournament has the right to change some details or drills prior to the tournament)
Breakaway Challenge: 2 skaters and 1 goaltender
Powerplay Challenge: 3 forwards, 1 defense and 1 goaltender
Skaters agility relay: 8 players
Skaters team relay race6 players

The Gloucester Centre Cougars are proud to be hosting the 42nd rendition of our Bantam tournament. Taking place in our nations capital, the Hubert Seguin Cougar Cup will be played  from Thursday, January 14th through Sunday, January 17th.

All games and special events will be scheduled at the brand new, state-of-the-art Richcraft Sensplex. This facility features a restaurant and sports bar, pro shop, canteen and other amenities.

We have a 3 game minimum, and a couple of unique features that set us apart from all other Bantam House League tournaments: A 4 event skills competition as well as an all-star game that sees players from all teams participating. In addition, players will receive a welcome gift, post-game complimentary beverages, post-game MVP player awards, trophies for skill competition winners, hockey jerseys for all-star game participants, and mementos for all finalists and tournament winners.

Registration is limited to 16 teams in each letter category, A and B.

To register, download a registration form and send it and a cheque for $1095.00 payable to the GCMHA,  to the address on the form.
